Will you find anything Earth shattering on this site? Probably not. I am an average cybersecurity professional that is currently focus on Penetration Testing and Red Team projects, but I do have many years experience doing software development. So, I believe I have a decent sense of where to look for security concerns in the environments that I test.
The initial direction of this website will be to basically provide a platform for me to share some experiences as I am work through my studies. Probably mostly CTFs at first, since that is a goal on this year’s corporate commitments. I am looking forward to the process, and hope to learn a thing or two along the way. Not much technically about security testing, but about creating posts on this website that I can use on other websites I plan to curate.
WordPress is the choice for this site, mostly because I want to torture myself with the usual WordPress security concerns that regularly pop up. Nothing like experiencing the problems I occasionally sight in reports. Oh, and as a result of the CMS I have chosen, I get to also enjoy the all too frequent PHP related concerns as well. Yup, I’m a glutton for punishment!
Finally, don’t expect too much in the area of flashy visual pleasure from this site. I will be keeping it very minimal. Enjoy!
